Diverse Media Voices
March 15, 2022
9:00 am - 10:30 am
Maryland is a richly diverse state – home to people of varied perspectives and racial and ethnic backgrounds, where both urban and rural cultures flourish. These media outlets target the unique interests. And, BPRC’s March 2022 program -– Diverse Media Voices – is a great opportunity to learn more about some of the media outlets and specialists that serve specific audiences throughout the Baltimore region.
These include Baltimore OUTloud, Cool & Associates, JMORE Living, The AFRO-American Newspapers and The Baltimore Times. They target the unique interests of thousands of people – Black and Hispanic Marylanders, the LGBTQ community, and the Jewish community. Is your company missing out by confining its “reach” to mainstream print and broadcast news outlets? What do Baltimore’s diverse media voices offer? How can we successfully interact with them? Are we prepared to adapt our messages to different points of view?
Please “Zoom” with us on March 15 to learn more from our Diverse Media Voices.
Panelists include:
Rev. Dorothy Boulware, Managing Editor, The AFRO-American Newspapers
Veronica Cool, Entrepreneur and Hispanic Strategist, Cool & Associates, LLC
Alan Feiler, Editor-in-Chief, JMORE Living
Frankie Kujawa, Entertainment Editor, Baltimore OUTloud
Kathy Reevie, Assistant Editor, The Baltimore Times
