Join the Baltimore Public Relations Council on Thursday, March 25 to learn how news happens! Representatives from the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism will be on hand discussing their recent study of Baltimore’s news ecosystem and what stories tend to get covered more often, and why. This is sure to be a fascinating insight into how local news is reported in our region, who reports it, how it’s disseminated and the roles of new vs. traditional media. Amy Mitchell, deputy director of the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism, will lead the program.
