Last March, Maryland joined 30 other states and implemented a digital sales tax that will affect many industries, including the public relations and marketing industry. Many are unaware of the tax and are unsure of how it affects their business and clients.
Under the new digital sales tax, taxable digital products include:

- Design files
- Online classes
- Mailing lists
- And much more
