WJZ-TV “Channel 13” is a CBS owned-and-operated television station that has been serving the Baltimore area since 1948. This was the local home of Oprah Winfrey, Nick Charles and Maria Shriver, along with beloved Baltimore broadcast legends, the late Jerry Turner & Al Sanders. When WJZ’s new state-of-the-art news set premiered last August, WJZ-TV also expanded their early morning newscast from 4:30-7a.m. Their CBS Prime programming is rated #1 in the market.
