Maryland Public Television – MPT – is the only state wide broadcaster in Maryland and is also seen in DC, and parts of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. A member of the Public Broadcasting System (PBS), MPT celebrates its 50th anniversary of service to Maryland this year. “Made possible by viewers like you” is a familiar refrain on their own programming/productions such as “MotorWeek”, Outdoors Maryland”, “Chesapeake Bay Week”,  “Chesapeake Collectibles”, and their “Public Square” news programs such as “Direct Connection”, “Your Money & Business” and “State Circle”.
