Panelist Bios:
Jack E. Appleman, APR, president of Successful Business Writing, is a writing instructor/coach who is driven by the belief that PR specialists and other professionals can dramatically improve their documents by following proven techniques. His passion to teach writing led him to pen two books, including 10 Steps to Successful Business Writing – 2nd edition (ATD Press). Over the past two decades, Jack’s workshops and coaching programs have helped thousands of working professionals achieve better results with their writing. His expertise includes AI-generated writing, having recently published a PR Daily column, Use AI to Draft – and Your Instincts to Edit. Jack is also an adjunct professor at New York University, teaching Business Communications to graduate students.
Eitan Goldstein is the communications manager for Propel, an Artificial Media Intelligence (AMI) tool that enables PR and communications professionals to automatically generate press releases and pitches. Prior to this, Eitan worked at GKPR, one of the premier tech PR firms in Israel, where he represented companies from seed stage to Fortune 100. Before this, he was a senior editor at YnetNews, the English language edition of Ynet, Israel’s largest newspaper. Originally from Indianapolis, IN, Eitan currently resides in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Justin Joffe is the Editor-in-chief at Ragan Communications where he oversees the editorial strategy for Ragan.com and the Communications Leadership Council. In addition to his editorial duties, Joffe also advises the programming team on best-in-class conferences, webinars and workshops during a time of unprecedented change in the way that communicators and marketers learn and meet. He is also a freelance journalist and communications writer specializing in the arts and culture, media and technology, and ad tech beats. Before joining the Ragan team, Joffe worked for Muck Rack, PR News, and The Observer.
